Bookings and ticket sales for specific events are handled by the individual venues. Be sure to book quickly, before events are sold out. But not all events come at a cost; Joburgers and visitors to the city are welcome to enjoy the daily street soccer on Gandhi Square, as well as the Critical Mass cycling event on Friday, 30 August, free of charge.
Getting to the Joburg City Festival is as simple as hopping on the Gautrain and then on to a Gautrain or Rea Vaya bus. Or park at one of the designated parking areas outside the Inner City and take a shuttle car or tuk tuk to a festival destination. Details are available on Joburg City.
