Rea Vaya construction under way in Sandton

The long-awaited Rea Vaya Phase 1C construction in Sandton kicks off tomorrow, 2 July.

Construction on the Rea Vaya Phase 1C infrastructure begins on 2 July in Sandton along Katherine Street between the Sandspruit Bridge and West Street.

The two inside lanes will be closed to traffic and only two lanes will be open for public use.

Construction will conclude at the end of March 2015.

Motorists are urged to take alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion.
