As we celebrate Women’s Month, we take stock of the achievements of women in various fields, including the professional space.

The Johannesburg Development Agency (JDA) is a prime example of an organization that has made great strides in empowering women and promoting gender equality.

Of the JDA’s workforce, 64% are women, with 40% holding senior or leadership roles, an impressive feat, given the numerous barriers women continue to face in the workplace. However, changes at work need to happen to ensure that women have equal opportunities for growth and advancement.
