JDA COMPLETES REHABILITATION OF ORANGE GROVE STORMWATER CHANNEL AND PATTERSON PARK

The Johannesburg Development Agency (JDA), the infrastructure arm of the City of Johannesburg, completed the rehabilitation and upgrade of the eastern stormwater channel and adjoining stormwater systems in Orange Grove, Norwood, and Patterson Park. This transformative project is a key component of the Louis Botha Transit-Oriented Development (ToD) Corridor’s Stormwater Master Plan. The project’s primary scope entailed rehabilitation and upgrade of the eastern stormwater channel from chainage 0 to chainage 480, as outlined in the project’s detailed layout plan.
