Second year students, from the University of Johannesburg’s Construction and Quantity Surveying faculty and the University of the Witwatersrand’s Construction and Property Development faculty, wore high visibility jackets, safety boots and hard hats as they visited three projects currently being undertaken by the Johannesburg Development Agency (JDA).

The visits took place over two days, 27 and 28 September, and provided the students with an opportunity to see how some of the theory acquired during their academic studies is put into professional practice.
