The City Manager of the City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality hereby publishes in terms of Section 156 (2) of The Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, 1996 (Act 108 of 1996), read with Section 24 (1) of the Spatial Planning and Land Use Management Act, 2013 (Act 16 of 2013), read with Section 6 (1) of the City of Johannesburg Municipal Planning By-Law 2016, as amended 2023, the City of Johannesburg Municipality: access to information to promote transparency. Both require organizations to appoint Information Officers and comply with regulations to uphold constitutional rights to privacy and access to information.
