{"id":1882,"date":"2014-05-26T08:11:10","date_gmt":"2014-05-26T08:11:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/173.254.98.142\/?p=1882"},"modified":"2018-07-30T08:16:47","modified_gmt":"2018-07-30T08:16:47","slug":"city-budget","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.jda.org.za\/archived\/city-budget\/","title":{"rendered":"City Budget"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Member of the Mayoral Committee (MMC) for Finance in Joburg, Councillor Geoffrey Makhubo, will present a R32 billion City budget at the Joburg Theatre tomorrow, 27 May.<\/p>\n<p>The budget will rank as the biggest ever delivered by a South African municipality, cementing Joburg as a World Class African City and the economic hub of the continent.<\/p>\n<p>It is expected to give substance to the theme developed by Mayor Parks Tau during his State of the City Address of Joburg as a City at Work.
