(including all benefits)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Purpose of the position<\/strong>: Reporting to the Manager: Strategy &amp; Performance Monitoring the role will facilitate the development and implementation the M&amp;E policies, processes, standards and guidelines to ensure effective institutional performance monitoring and evaluation reporting. To supervise the capturing of data pertaining to performance, monitoring and evaluation to ensure data integrity and accuracy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key responsibilities<\/strong>: Organisational Performance Monitoring &amp; Evaluation (M&amp;E): \u2022Facilitate the development of the M&amp;E strategic framework in consultation with the line manager \u2022 Review and Update the JDAs performance management framework \u2022 Provide technical advice and support in the design and delivery of the M&amp;E activities to ensure rigorous methodologies are applied within the JDA\u2022 Strengthen the impact and outcome of M&amp;E research and evaluation \u2022Input into improvements in the JDAs overall planning process by reviewing evaluation recommendations and outcomes\u2022 Participate in the mid-year and annual review of business targets.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Data management processes:<\/strong> \u2022 Guide the collation and management tools to be implemented, and ensure tools are user friendly for stakeholders\u2022 Collaborate with IT to input into the design and implementation of a central M&amp;E database to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness\u2022 Verify that the performance dashboard correctly reflects the organisational scorecard\u2022 Implement manual data system \/ dashboard and ensure information is updated regularly\u2022 Undertake accurate data analysis and reporting i.e. annual reporting, quarterly reports, sub-committee reports, etc\u2022 Ensure that M&amp;E data is delivered on time and with high quality to internal and external stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Performance information audits<\/strong>: \u2022 Facilitate the audit of performance information on a quarterly or annual basis \u2022Coordinate all portfolio of evidence submitted to auditors \u2022Respond to performance related audit queries raised in audit report \u2022Provide input into responses to internal audit or Auditor General management findings pertaining to performance reporting \u2022Coordinate the consolidation of required performance information for auditing \u2022Follow up on action plans for performance targets that were previously not achieved \u2022Ensure that M&amp;E data quality is regularly assessed for constraints and limitations, and make recommendations to line manage.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reporting:<\/strong> \u2022Collate information and develop monthly, quarterly and annual reports on M&amp;E outcomes, and performance of the monitoring &amp; evaluation system \u2022Assist the line manager administratively to compile and ensure the Quarterly &amp; Annual Reports are completed on time and approved by board\u2022Collate information to disseminate to the relevant structures<\/p>\n<p><strong>Education and experience required<\/strong>: Degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Public Administration or similar (NQF Level 7).
