1 496 978 TCTC (including benefits)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Purpose of the position:<\/strong> Reporting to the Executive Manager: Project Implementation, the role will lead and direct the implementation of all the JDA\u2019s development projects, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required standards.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong> \u25cf Ensure that all development projects are designed and implemented on time, within budget and that all best practice development principles are applied to all JDA developments.\u25cf Provide leadership and management support to the project implementation teams \u25cf Lead and manage client stakeholder relationships \u25cf Lead, implement and monitor a performance management system for the project implementation teams \u25cf Ensure that development projects are sufficiently resourced, both internally and externally \u25cf Lead contract management and dispute resolution \u25cf Ensure that Construction Regulations and Health and Safety requirements are uniformly and consistently applied to all development projects \u25cf Implement an enterprise development programme for SMMEs in projects \u25cf Ensure prudent financial management of all projects \u25cf Appoint, develop and evaluate staff and take corrective actions to address under\/non-performance \u25cf Coach, mentor and guide staff to ensure that approved audit objectives are met and that adequate coverage is achieved \u25cf Identify and manage risks in all area of responsibility Education and experience required: \u25cf Minimum Bachelor\u2019s degree or diploma in a Built Environment as Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent \u25cf Professional Construction Project Management registration with a professional body \u25cf Professional Engineering Technologist or Professional Engineer \u25cf Minimum 7-10 years\u2019 experience with management of diverse development and construction projects preferably in an urban setting \u25cf Extensive experience in planning and management of infrastructure, and a record of success at senior level in achievement of operations and delivery of programmes with and through partners in public, private and community sectors \u25cf Sound knowledge of financial management of infrastructure programmes \u25cf Sound knowledge of best practices within the construction industry, legal environment including supply chain management, CIDB, Construction Contract regulations Best Practices \u25cf Sound knowledge of the MFMA \u25cf Knowledge of Corporate Governance \u25cf Advanced MS Office and Report writing skills \u25cf Valid driver\u2019s license<\/p>\n<p><strong>Please email a detailed CV in MS Word format to<\/strong>: <a href=\"mailto:spm23@jda.org.za\">spm23@jda.org.za <\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong> Closing date: 13 September 2023 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Johannesburg Development Agency is an equal opportunity employer and the position will be filled in line with its EE targets.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SALARY PACKAGE: R997 985 &#8211;
