{"id":14866,"date":"2022-11-18T15:35:56","date_gmt":"2022-11-18T15:35:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.jda.org.za\/archived\/?p=14866"},"modified":"2022-11-18T15:36:32","modified_gmt":"2022-11-18T15:36:32","slug":"executive-manager-corporate-services-5-year-fixed-term-contract","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.jda.org.za\/archived\/executive-manager-corporate-services-5-year-fixed-term-contract\/","title":{"rendered":"EXECUTIVE MANAGER: CORPORATE SERVICES (5-year fixed term contract)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MARKET-RELATED SALARY PACKAGE (E1)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Purpose of the position:<\/strong> Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the role will oversee and strategically lead the<br \/>\nprovision of corporate services to the JDA, encompassing Human Capital, Facilities Management, Communications<br \/>\n&amp; Marketing and Information Technology, to enable and strategically support the JDA in accordance with company<br \/>\npolicies and applicable legislation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong> the role will be responsible to develop the Corporate Services Strategy in line with the<br \/>\noverarching JDA Business Strategy and mandate encompassing Human Capital, ICT, Marketing &amp; Communications<br \/>\nand Facilities Management. Monitor the implementation of the Corporate Services Strategy and functional strategies,<br \/>\nreporting on business unit performance against the annual performance plan to EXCO, Board Committees, the<br \/>\nBoard and Shareholder. Contribute towards the development of the JDA Business Strategy, as a member of the<br \/>\nExecutive Committee.<\/p>\n<p>Drive strategic direction and innovation and sustainable HC practices. Direct and lead the establishment of and<br \/>\nadherence to an IT Governance Framework and Charter. Oversee the development and implementation of new<br \/>\nIT business systems and solutions, driving technology innovation to improve IT offerings to the JDA. Oversee<br \/>\nthe provision of ICT services and the design and implementation the JDA infrastructure. Manage and lead the<br \/>\ndevelopment of the Communication, Marketing &amp; Public Relations (PR) Strategy and monitor the implementation<br \/>\nof the strategy aligned to the Corporate Services Strategy and overarching Business Strategy. Manage and lead<br \/>\ndevelopment of facilities related policies and procedures in collaboration with the line managers, ensuring alignment<br \/>\nto the Corporate Services Strategy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong>: A minimum of a Postgraduate\/Honours degree in Human Resource Management or Business<br \/>\nManagement or any related field is required (NQF level 8), a Masters qualification would be advantageous. Minimum<br \/>\nof 10 years\u2019 experience in Business Management and\/or HR Management and\/or IT Management and 3 years\u2019 in<br \/>\na Senior\/Executive management role, extensive knowledge of the Human Capital best practices, ICT Governance<br \/>\nframeworks, Information Systems including SAP, relevant legislation i.e. Companies Act, King Code, MFMA,<br \/>\nOccupational Health &amp; Safety Act, Labour Law, etc. Understanding of best practice leadership principles and track<br \/>\nrecord in managing human capital.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Please email a detailed CV in MS Word format to:<\/strong><a href=\"mailto:execmgrcs@jda.org.za\"> execmgrcs@jda.org.za<\/a><br \/>\n<strong>Closing date:<\/strong> 04 December 2022<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Correspondence will be with short-listed candidates only.
