{"id":14496,"date":"2022-08-20T08:15:52","date_gmt":"2022-08-20T08:15:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.jda.org.za\/archived\/?p=14496"},"modified":"2022-08-20T08:27:00","modified_gmt":"2022-08-20T08:27:00","slug":"manager-strategy-and-performance-monitoring","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.jda.org.za\/archived\/manager-strategy-and-performance-monitoring\/","title":{"rendered":"Manager: Strategy and Performance Monitoring"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Reporting to the Senior Manager: Strategy, Performance, Risk and Administration the role will manage and coordinate the institutional performance, monitoring and evaluation management system.<\/p>\n<p><strong>KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The role will provide technical oversight in developing and implementing monitoring and evaluation activities within the JDA.<\/li>\n<li>Work with the Senior Manager: Strategy, Performance, Risk &amp; Administration to prepare the business plan, performance reports and annual report for the JDA, aligned to the performance measurement frameworks.<\/li>\n<li>Provide support to strengthen the monitoring and evaluation components of the JDA.<\/li>\n<li>Lead and account for all monitoring and evaluation initiatives within the JDA.<\/li>\n<li>Manage the implementation of the Service delivery and Budget Implementation Plan.<\/li>\n<li>Direct the assessment of organizational and performance gaps within the different business units and report on corrective actions needed.<\/li>\n<li>Provide input into the development of relevant strategic plans, forecasting model and operational plans and implementation of relevant policy and procedure.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain that all expenses incurred by the unit are in line with the MFMA\/PFMA and accounted for.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Education and Experience Required<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Minimum Bachelor\u2019s degree or equivalent with a sound strategy and performance monitoring knowledge.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Master\u2019s degree or MBA will be advantageous.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Minimum of 5 years\u2019 experience in a Strategy and Performance Monitoring and Evaluation environment.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Sound knowledge of Public Sector legislation, e.g. MFMA, National and Provincial Treasury Regulations, Monitoring and Evaluation systems and methodologies, Performance Management systems<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Please email a detailed CV in MS Word format to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"mailto:mspm@jda.org.za\">mspm@jda.org.za<\/a><\/p>\n<p>CLOSING DATE: 04 SEPTEMBER 2022<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Correspondence will be with short-listed candidates only.
