Growth and development strategy
THE City of Johannesburg's Growth and Development Strategy is a long-term plan to ensure sustainable delivery of services, deal with social and economic development, involve residents in local government and promote a safe and healthy environment.
It takes into account the ideas expressed in all other City strategies, as well as Gauteng province's own Growth and Development Strategy, the National Spatial Development Perspective, the Accelerated and Shared Growth Initiative for South Africa (Asgisa) and the strategies of neighbouring municipalities.
