Automotive hub will bring work to Alex

A joint project between the JDA and the National Treasury will bring much-needed work to Alexandra. The industrial hub will target motor dealerships, fitment centres and spares shops, among other industries in the automotive sector.

Nene tables a budget to narrow the fiscal gap

In line with the medium term strategic framework and National Development, the budget prioritised infrastructure investment and social programmes, like health, education and community facilities. The local government infrastructure grant system would also be reviewed.
