Showcasing great projects and greatness of spirit

Every participant in the Halala Joburg Awards has told a story of greatness. From stories of overcoming the odds to transform elements of the Inner City, to ones of creativity and innovation. In the urban context of regeneration, we aim for such success to be contagious. To inspire others to make a difference in their sphere of influence.

As awareness of the awards has grown, so too has awareness of our winners and finalists. This year, category winners will be given the opportunity to present at the Halala Joburg Inner City Showcase Seminar during June 2011.This event is attended by leaders in built environment regeneration, urban planning and investment.

Additional exposure will be generated through the City of Joburg and JDA websites, as well as through our public relations programme. And to ensure that you remain inspired, each winner takes home the Halala Joburg Awards trophy to commemorate their achievement.
